Happy Game Day Missouri Fans!! It’s the first game of the season and I was inspired by my friend Tony to share favorite Mizzou Football Memories. It brought me so much joy to look back on pictures from over the years.
Cheers to 15 Football Seasons (and counting) of being Mizzou Fans.
Queen Anne’s lace (still growing wild). The joy of seeing our boys playing together after 10+ years of friendship. The first ever “are we there yet?” Trying new things. Never ending things to talk about and the opportunity for a roast that turns into sharing our favorite stories… into a microphone. Belly giggles and rock piles. Deeming this year the one where we moo-ed at the bull. 🐂
The Good List: mid-week PTO spent eating scones and roaming the pet store, waking up well rested, a trail walk to end a heavy week, rock collections in tiny hands, and late night projects to surprise our birdy-loving boy. 🤍
Praise God for this goodness.
⭐️ Nana’s Birthday dinner with the whole fam.
⭐️ Nap time shopping (and pizza) with my Mom.
⭐️ Crossed paws and jowls flapping out the car window.
⭐️ Exploring in our new backyard.
⭐️ The glory of creation just absolutely showing off. Weather, sky, flowers, plants, and found bits were spot on.
Just so dang thankful. ❤️ These little wrap ups have been the perfect cap for my weekends lately.
What a weekend. We got about two inches of snow on Friday and the cold front (after several days of 50-60 degree weather) made us want to stay inside all weekend. We did venture out to hang up our new bird feeder and I snuck in a little me time at a bookshop downtown. I did come away with the first book in the Crescent City series by Sarah J Maas that I’ve had on my TBR for years at this point.
I’m currently in the middle of the audiobook “Remarkably Bright Creatures” which is book number 12 for the year. I managed 65 in 2023 and am on track to surpass that if I keep up this pace. Depends on how many 800+ page Sarah J Maas/Brandon Sanderson books make it onto my list. I’ve really been trying to habit switch to spend less of my time on my phone, and more with a book after Cal goes to bed. Amazing book stores and a nightstand full of books I’m excited about definitely help make that happen.
